National-Level Entrance Exams Applicants must have a valid score above a declared cutoff in one of the following exams (as applicable to the program discipline):

IIT Kanpur Online Entrance Test Applicants may also qualify through their performance in a centrally administered, online proctored entrance examination conducted by IIT Kanpur.[syllabus]

Full waiver of Program Fee and Trimester Fee for the first four trimesters. Also eligible for 40% alumni concession on Program and Course/Tuition Fees.
Government and Government Undertakings (Defense Services, PSUs, SPSUs, CFTIs, Regulatory Bodies)
25% concession on Program and Course/Tuition Fees for candidates with official nomination * or under a formal MoU.
Corporate Bulk Nominations (≥5 candidates in one academic year)
15% concession on Program and Course/Tuition Fees, whether paid by the candidate or the sponsoring organization.
